What is Pupil Premium? How does it benefit your child?

Since 2011/12 schools have received Pupil Premium Funding.  The amount of funding is determined directly by the number of ‘looked after children’, children receiving free school meals and children of service families.

We continually strive to ensure that our high-quality, inclusive principles meet the needs of all our pupils. Our ambition is to ensure that adaptive teaching and an inclusive curriculum is made for all pupils and all pupils can reach their potential and be successful in all areas of school.  

We recognise that not all pupils who receive free school meals will be socially disadvantaged and that not all pupils who are disadvantaged are registered or qualify for free school meals. Therefore, when allocating funding we use a wide range of criteria.
