The music curriculum at Grateley inspires children to develop a love of music to increase their self confidence, creativity and sense of achievement. Every lesson is fun, inspiring and engaging. Music across the school allows the children to be expressive; developing an enthusiasm for music. All children have access to a variety of instruments to enable them to be a composer and a performer.

Children have access to a wide range of music tuition from peripatetic guitar and piano teachers who provide 1:1 music tuition to those children and parents who would like it. We also invite a Hampshire Music Specialist (listen2me) once a week to teach whole classes in an instrument and aspect of the music curriculum.

Performing is important to our Grateley musicians, so we provide lots of opportunities to perform to each other, parents and other schools through Hampshire led events.
