We read the story of The Invisible String together and talked about who we thought of as 'special' people in our lives.  We talked about how some of these people might be right here in our class, but others may be further away, however, they are always with us if we think about them and remember them.  We created a class string of pictures which is hanging in our classroom, to remind us how lucky we are to have so many special people in our lives taking care of us, playing with us and loving us.
