Looking after our eggs!
Science investigation
Darwin Class had a great time in science this week trying to protect our eggs! We have been learning about materials and their uses but unfortunately, when it came to creating safe boxes for our eggs, we were all out of the soft and squashy materials we really wanted to use. Instead Darwin had the challenge of just using paper and a cardboard box to try to keep the egg safe. We made our boxes in pairs and then tested our ideas. We thought about how to make our test fair by always dropping the egg from the same height and then we had time to use the paper to create the best nests we could. Some of us did really well and kept our eggs whole whilst unfortunately, some of us ended up with a box dripping with yolk!
