We have been thinking about farms and enjoyed the story of the Little Red Hen.  We thought her friends were very mean not to help her with her baking.  We decided to bake some bread of our own and worked together to measure out the ingredients for a big bowl of dough.  Then we each had our own roll to knead and then shape into a hedgehog.  We took the bread home to eat and lots of the children said they shared it with their family and really enjoyed it!
